Diverse. Trusted. Proven. - It's A Wind-lock Thing

Yeah, cool, but WHAT does it mean? 

Many companies talk about their culture, even boast about how perfectly cohesive they all are and how “working here is the greatest thing I’ve ever done in my life.” But let’s get real for a minute, “working” should not be "the greatest thing any of us have ever done in our lives.”  We work to provide for our families, build/fulfill a family legacy and/or create something impactful for the industry we serve; or the lighthearted version, we work so that when someone asks us, ‘what is the Wind-lock culture all about?’, we can respond with “Livin’ Man, L-I-V-I-N!” (Name that Movie and Actor for a thousand bonus points**)

Of course, that doesn’t mean we take our employment lightly, it just means the “Wind-lock Culture” is to understand work/life balance, never taking ourselves too seriously, but always striving to be the best resource we can be for our customers, internal and external.
  
We’re often asked to define our tagline.  What does Diverse. Trusted. Proven. mean?  Well, thanks for asking, or even if you didn’t “ask” we still want to share it with you because we think it’s pretty cool and worth the read.

Diverse Markets & Products
-Diversity can be defined several ways, but at Wind-lock, it’s absolutely a multi-facetted definition. We have diversity amongst our staff, histories, mind-sets, education levels, home lives, work lives, even our hopes, dreams and aspirations. But it doesn’t stop there. The secondary level of that Diversity is in the ever changing and evolving product offering that spans across multiple channels and trades. The Diverse Markets we serve requires us to have a Diverse Product Mix which meets the unique needs of our customers. 

Trusted Partner
-Trust is not something that’s given, it’s earned! That said, you will never gain trust if you don’t provide opportunities for that trust to be gained. Throughout our history, Wind-lock has asked our Customers and Vendors to trust in us to supply quality products, at fair prices (that benefit them and are sustainable for us) and to form a true Partnership where the end goal is unbridled success for all parties. When granted the opportunity to earn that trust, we take it quite seriously and do everything in our power to earn our spot as their Trusted Partner. 

Proven Track Record
-When you think of the word proof, you might think of the court system and trying to “prove” facts that shape guilt or innocence. However, our version of proof is to make good on a promise to provide goods, services and a business relationship that is mutually beneficial to all parties. As referenced above, the window of trust that exists between Customer, Vendor and Supplier is one that can close quickly. With a seemingly endless number of competitors and marketplaces vying for our Customer’s and our Vendor's business, Wind-lock’s Proven Track Record in the markets we serve speaks for itself, but we also know it cannot be taken for granted. 

To sum it all up, Wind-lock is a work hard, play harder group of Professionals AND Human Beings that understand this life is short, business doesn’t have to be complicated and the working culture that exists within our walls (figuratively speaking of course; hey it’s the 2020’s we have a ton of people that work remotely) has been established to be the best dang company and people we can be.  Wind-lock is Diverse. Trusted. Proven. and whether you’re a customer, vendor or part of our Wind-lock Family of employees, we sincerely appreciate the opportunity to show you what that means, every day!
